New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Praxis Media, in association with Quality Congress and Global Brands Network, announced the National Quality Excellence Awards 2017 winners at five different levels, for their continuing commitment to quality and excellence in their businesses, products and services.

E- Mymedic India Pvt Ltd won the Best Healthcare Start-Up of the Year for Surgivisor, an online platform designed to help patients to make an informed decision in selecting the right hospital and doctor for medical surgeries.

Surgivisor’s customized technology platform serves as one stop solution for each patient to search from a database of more than 350 hospitals, around 6000 doctors, 1500 surgeries and more than 50 medical specialties.
The National Quality Excellence Awards, 2017 were held here yesterday.

The start-up makes efforts to provide smooth, convenient and hassle-free process for the patients by facilitating the end-to-end hospitalization requirements. Their team of experts looks into all aspects of the patient’s travel, facilitates and doctor consultations.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sumeet Khanna, Co-Founder, Surgivisor said, “ There is no doubt that healthcare tech is the new big thing today, but sluggish growth in the industry especially for the start-ups, demonetization, due to weak (non-sustainable) revenue model, low government assistance and protection, are the major factors contributing to its low adoption in our country. We hope it changes soon. Awards like these are huge encouragement. ”

The exacting and daunting feat of zeroing-in on the winners was achieved by Praxis Media, with the support from its associates and partners, after an elaborate and meticulous selection process. National Quality Excellence Awards are conferred upon the “best of the best” in recognition of their attainment of world-class standard of quality excellence.

The significant parameters which were considered for selecting the winners included Qualification and Professional Experience, Infrastructure and Facilities, Market Presence and Competition, Growth and Profitability, Quality and Operational Excellence, Financial and Business Acumen, Innovation and Novelty in Services, Ingenuity and Imagination, Sustainability and Environmental Awareness, Job and Impact Potential, Customer and Industry Feedback, Use of Technology and Trends, Efforts for Risk and Setback Mitigation, Previous Awards and Achievements.

The event was graced by an elite panel of guests and dignitaries that included GVL Narsimha Rao, Senior Politician and National Spokesperson, BJP, Former Indian Cricket player Chetan Sharma, Padmashree Pratibha Prahlad among others.
